Who We Are: More Than a Clothing Brand

If you found us through a t-shirt, welcome. We're glad you're here. But Soldiers of Christ is more than a clothing brand. It's an organization built on faith, with a mission that reaches into our neighborhoods, our homes and our future.

This blog is where we'll keep you informed: what we're working on, what's coming next, and how we're working to make a difference in our communities and beyond.

A word from our founder

I didn't start Soldiers of Christ to sell t-shirts or to flip houses. I started it because I believe God gave me a vision, and I couldn't walk away from it.

This is my life's work. It's my answer to the call to ministry. And I've come to understand that ministry isn't confined to four walls on a Sunday morning. It reaches into the places where people actually live: the clothes they put on, the homes they raise their families in, the way they provide for the people they love. God cares about all of it, so we will too.

That's why Soldiers of Christ isn't one business. It's one mission carried out in many ways. Every design we release, every homeowner we help and every family we teach to build wealth is part of the same calling: to serve God by serving people, and to leave our neighborhoods better than we found them.

I don't have every step figured out. That's what faith is for. But I know who gave me this vision, and I trust Him to finish what He started.

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6)

Our vision: unity in the Body of Christ, for the sake of the whole world

Jesus left His Church one mission: to take the gospel to every nation. Two thousand years later, that work is far from finished. About three in ten people on earth identify as Christian, which means roughly seven in ten have yet to follow Christ.

Why haven't we been more effective? There are many reasons, but one stands out: division. Researchers count tens of thousands of Christian denominations and groups around the world. Too often, believers who serve the same Lord spend more energy on what separates them than on the mission they share. A divided army cannot advance.

Jesus prayed for His followers:

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:21)

Our unity isn't a side issue. It's tied directly to the world believing.

So imagine the Body of Christ standing together: churches, ministries and believers joining their prayers, their gifts and their resources for one purpose. What couldn't we build? What community couldn't we reach? What couldn't we own and steward for the Kingdom?

"The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just." (Proverbs 13:22)

We believe God intends to place great resources in the hands of His people, not for comfort, but to fund the harvest.

What we believe is coming

We believe two things must happen before Christ returns:

  1. A great transfer of wealth to the Church, to resource the work of the Kingdom.
  2. A great revival, a final harvest of souls before the days of tribulation.

Whatever your view of the rapture or the timing of the end, we believe these events are coming. The Church must be ready: united, equipped, and faithful with what God puts in our hands.

That's why Soldiers of Christ exists: to help unite the Body of Christ, to build and steward Kingdom wealth through enterprise and real estate, and to strengthen the Church for the greatest harvest the world has ever seen.

Why "Soldiers of Christ"?

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." (2 Timothy 2:3)

A soldier doesn't serve for himself. He serves a mission bigger than he is, he shows up when it's hard, and he looks out for the people beside him. That's how we want to operate in every part of our work: in what we make, in how we do business, and in how we treat our neighbors.

What we're building

Faith you can wear

Our apparel is the most visible part of what we do. Every design is made to carry a message, whether it's scripture, encouragement or a little church humor, into everyday places: work, school, the gym, the grocery store. A shirt can start a conversation that a sermon never reaches.

Stronger neighborhoods through real estate

Through SOC Home Buyers, we work with homeowners across Hampton Roads, including Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk and Williamsburg. Life happens: an inherited house, a move, a home that needs more repairs than the owner can take on. We aim to give homeowners real options and to help bring houses back to life, because good homes make strong neighborhoods.

Building wealth the right way

We believe financial stewardship is part of faithful living. "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children" (Proverbs 13:22). We want to help our community understand money, ownership and investing, so families can build stability that lasts for generations.
